WATER STORAGE TANKS

Norland's water storage tanks come in a variety of sizes and is a sanitary way to hold product water to ensure a steady supply for packaging operation.

WATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS

The RO water treatment systems are designed to work at pressures of 200-250 psi for higher TDS water and use TW reverse osmosis membranes. The TW RO membranes offer higher salt removal and the higher operating pressure overcomes the loss of membrane flow due to higher TDS level.

OZONE SYSTEM

Norland Ozone Systems are complete frame mounted modules designed specifically for high quality bottled water operations and can produce enough ozone to treat up to 90 gallons per minute. These compact systems are designed to keep ozone residual levels from 0.1- 0.4 MG/L. The SSOZ90 utilizes an air cooled, patented, “Cold Spark” Corona Discharge Generator. This technology allows the production of high concentration of ozone with little heat generated – eliminating the need for additional water cooling mechanisms for the ozone tube.

The system is designed to provide effective mixing and “Mass Transfer” of the ozone and product water prior to entering the filler. The stainless steel contact tank further increases the level of ozone in the product water by blending together, under pressure, the molecules of ozone to the molecules of water.

 

LARGE BOTTLING EQUIPMENT

Our large bottling system automatically washes, fills, and caps 3 to 5 gallon bottles of virtually any style simultaneously without the need for any hand-sorting or equipment adjustments.

The Triton160™ washes, fills, and caps up to 160 bottles an hour.  Stainless steel piping is used throughout the equipment providing longevity, durability, and low maintenance.  (11L-19L)

SHRINKPAK - HEAT TUNNEL

The ShrinkPak System applies plastic wrap to packages of bottles and then conveys them through a heat tunnel where a controlled heat process securely shrinks the plastic.

Shrink wrap improves the marketability of a product at the retail level because the packages design and logo are visible through clear film.

Consumers can more easily handle a bundle and can more easily see the product inside the bundle versus corrugated cases.

The shrink wrapped packages are inherently tamper-evident and protected from dust and abrasions.

Labeler & Date Coder

Labeler and date coder seamlessly applies labels and freshness date to every bottle.  Designed to label and up to 3000 / ½ liter bottles per hour (50 bottles per minute) for the L3000 and up to 4500 of the ½ liter bottles per hour (75 bottles per minute) for the L5000.  The PLC Touch Screen controls are dependable and allow you to match the speed of the Labeler to the inlet conveyor speed.  The optical sensors ensure smooth and trouble-free operation. 

CAP ELEVATOR

The cap elevator easily adds caps to the production line for sealing bottled water.

Bottle Rinse, Fill and Cap

The multi-functional Triumph2000™ medium speed mono-block rotary filling system has proven to be a reliable and effective workhorse for the bottled water industry.

Speeds of up to 2000 bottles per hour can be achieved on this durable and dependable system, which includes 8 rinse valves, 8 fill heads and 4 cap head assemblies.

The continual motion of a rotary filling line is what sets it apart from in-line systems and other lower speed alternatives.

BOTTLE BLOW MOLDER

Bottle blow molders free you from the high costs for vendor-supplied pre-blown bottles. No more waiting for bottle deliveries that may not arrive in time. And, you’ll free up valuable plant space from storing large quantities of empty bottles.

An efficient mix of simplified mechanics and high-tech controls make the Freedom Series units highly reliable and easily maintained. One employee can produce up to 4500 bottles an hour—that’s nearly 36,000 bottles per 8-hour shift.

Water Softeners/Carbon Filters

The deluxe systems incorporate activated carbon filters to remove bad tastes and odors from the water. Spectrum TT Series automatic water softeners have been designed for light commercial and industrial applications. Since they are designed to deliver a continuous uninterrupted supply of softened water, the TT series is ideally suited to treat the feed water before distillation or reverse osmosis. Sizes range from 16,000 grains to 128,000 grains per resin tank and flow rates of up to 24 gallons (91 liters) per minute.

The TT Series water softener is a twin resin tank with a single brine tank and control valve. The metered control valve measures the water that is softened which optimizes regeneration frequency and only regenerates when required. One tank is always in service while the second is in the stand by or regeneration mode – assuring a constant supply of softened water. This feature lowers operating costs and reduces salt and water consumption.

The system can regenerate once every 4 hours. The model 9000 control valve is used on all Norland TT series water softeners.

The spiral wound poly glass resin tanks and heavy-duty polyethylene brine tanks are corrosion resistant for a long, durable and trouble-free life. Only high-capacity cation resin is used in the TT Series water softeners and no hard water is ever bypassed.

Water Distiller VC1500

Norland’s VC1500 vapor compression commercial distiller produces up to 1,500 gallons per day of purified water, for use by bottled water plants, laboratories and other applications requiring clean water.

Your 5 Step Water Process

Norland Pure’s bottled water meets or exceeds all Federal and State Health Department regulations. Ensuring the safety of our water is our primary objective in providing our customers with a superior product.

When you’re looking to make healthy lifestyle choices, one of the simplest changes you can make is to drink water instead of less-healthy, sugary beverages.  For those who want to eliminate or moderate calories, sugar, caffeine, artificial flavors or colors, and other ingredients from their diet, choosing water is definitely the right choice.

But not all bottled water is the same. To produce the best tasting bottled water around, Norland Pure’s employs an essential 5-step purification process.

We start our purification process by passing standard municipal water through a Commercial   1). Carbon Filter to pre-treat the feed water. Carbon filtration is a method of filtering that uses a bed of activated carbon to remove contaminants and impurities, using chemical adsorption. Each particle/granule of carbon provides a large surface area/pore structure, allowing contaminants the maximum possible exposure to the active sites within the filter media to remove chlorine and other potentially harmful chemicals.

Next, the pre-treated water passes through a Dual Tank Commercial  2). Water Softener to remove hardness minerals such as calcium and magnesium ions that would otherwise affect the taste and flavor of the water.

Once the water has been carbon filtered and softened, water flows to Norland’s patented  3). VC1500 Vapor Compression Water Distiller. This is where Norland Pure’s process is set apart from all others.

Distillation is the process of heating water to the point of evaporation (leaving contaminants behind), then condensing that steam into high quality purified water. This patented process mimics the natural evaporation cycle, to generate the best tasting water available!

The VC1500 Distiller is a Patented designed which delivers large volumes of high-quality, great tasting distilled drinking water.   Standard distillation units boil water and let the steam condense one time, using excessive amounts of energy.  The VC1500 captures and recycles the heat from the condensation process and uses it over and over again, to dramatically lower the consumption of electrical powder required. In addition, the unique, VOC Filter (Volatile Organic Chemicals) removes unwanted chemicals that might otherwise carryover during the steam boiling process.

After the distillation process is complete, the water is passed through a 3-stage,  4). Tri-Plex Carbon Filter for a final “polish” prior to preparation for the bottling phase.

The treated water is then delivered to one of two 3,000 gallon high density, FDA approved, polyethylene, food grade purified water storage tanks where it is sanitized by way of a  5). Corona Discharge Ozone Treatment System.
